Summary | 0015303: Champion module re-building tweak (currently too tedious)
Description | To put it short and simple, Champions who have modules in their build queue should either: - Be auto-targetet and assisted by engineers even when "engineers do not assist queues" is on. (Just add "engineers will still assist queues that do not cost resources" to the option's tooltip.) The reason I put on "do not assist queues" is because I don't want to have my resources be drained by stuff that is out of my control or a surprise or so (I only put engineers onto queues when I KNOW my economy can handle it), but since champion modules are completely FREE there is no reason why an idle engineer should NOT assist him. - Be automatically assisted by the alt-progress-spawned starbases or mini-fortresses (or anything similar). (Aren't those starbases the exact same ones present in nebulae scenarios? If so, why do they assist the champion there, but not on the homeworld after it spawned?) - Be able to build their modules on their own without ANY help as long as they are on the same planet as a player home command station. (Obviously the best and most comfortable solution, though I'm unsure how much work it'd require to implement.) - Take one (literally one) point of damage when they have free module slots (as in when they spawn or whenever a module gets destroyed) to "trick" engineers into helping them build (if a champion is damaged, engineers will come to it's aid to repair, but they'll stick around and help with it's build queue afterwards). (Kind of a weird quick-fix option.) I am suggesting this because going back to the homeworld every time a champion dies, then waiting for a (seemingly random) amount of seconds for it to respawn and then manually sending an engineer to help the champion rebuild, then sit there and wait till it's done and only THEN being able to send the champion back to whatever it was doing is really really tedious. I'd like to just be able to wait a few moments, press ctrl+H, and then be able to actually use the champion right away without having to tediously micromanage a bunch of crap first. And tedious is not what this game is about, last I checked.
