| Description | If you're in the galaxy view, you don't see the alerts such as "200 ships on [important planet]" or "200 ships, 2 starships to [important planet] in 1:00", making it all too easy to lose planets because of an attack while you're reviewing the galaxy view. If you're afraid of this blocking the view of a planet and don't want to implement camera control on the galaxy overview, you could always hide it while the Ctrl key is pressed (when you normally show planet names). | ||||

I've implemented an experimental version of this in a mod: http://www.arcengames.com/forums/index.php/topic,16085.0.html Hopefully the devs will eventually include it in the base game. |
