Summary0015675: Credit account suddenly zeroed
DescriptionI'm playing v. 1.029, which wasn't in the Mantis drop-down box. My Credit suddenly went from over one hundred thousand to zero. I loaded an earlier save, played on for a good long while, and have now found that my Credit has gone from over two hundred thousand to zero. This isn't just display bug, either: I can't spend any Credit.

I don't have saves from the first occasion, but I'm attaching two from the second.

It gets worse. After the second occasion, I loaded some saves and found that my Credit was 0 in more than one recent save. I then loaded a save from April, and its Credit displayed correctly. Examine the two attached saves closely. They're just a few actions apart, one from 15th I 3073, one from 9th I 3074. You'll see that the first action I did after 15th I 3073 was Industrialize. Industrialize costs Credit: I couldn't have done it with zero Credit.

Can this bug be affecting save files that are loaded after it strikes?

Thanks!

* There were a couple of reports of credit being zeroed out after doing contracts at random points. Apologies for this. One possible source of this has been "fixed" (though we're not 100% positive that code was even bad), but please let us know if you see this again in 1.031 or higher.

Woe, alas and alack. I patched to 1.031, picked up a save about an hour back from where I left off, and lost all my Credit many times in fairly rapid succession.

I'm attaching an AutosaveAtStartOfCombat save. Everything's alright in it, but when I autoresolve the combat, save the game, and then load that save, my credit account is emptied.

Note that I didn't start a new game in 1.031. I used a save made in an earlier version.

For 1.032:

* Fixed a bug where saving and loading a game could cause your credits to be zeroed out.

Thanks! Especially for the concrete steps-to-reproduce. It definitely works now, at least in that specific case.
