Summary | 0015724: Unit Sidebar Without Scouts
Description | There are currently three ways that I'm aware of to see guard posts, ion engines, etc. on the planet: - On the galaxy map (hover mouse over the planet, see a summary) - Go to the planet map, and visually look around (zooming/scrolling) - Look at the sidebar on the planet map When there are no active scouts on a planet, 1 and 2 work, but 3 doesn't. This is annoying when I've got a group of raid starships and I want to go pop a bunch of ion cannons (or similar targets) on a few planets. I usually have to zoom in/out on various areas of the planet until I find all relevant targets. Can the sidebar always show enemy unit data from the last successfully scouted time? Or if that is difficult, can it at least list enemy stationary structures like guard posts, ion cannons, raid engines, etc.?

It's a good idea that is consistent with what's already available from the galactic map and planetary view. I support this, as long as there's a visual indicator that the planetary summary is stale, and that it not show mobile units. |
