Summary | 0015747: Bug: Regenerator Golem Revives Drones
Description | The Regenerator Golem is pretty great, but if it revives ships which would respawn anyway (like drones), then its health drops insanely fast without regenerating anything of benefit to the player. This concerns the various Neinzul Drones from Neinzul Enclave Starships, various drones (e.g. Slicer Drones) from Champions and Modular Fortresses, and possibly other ships. (To clarify: These ships are _not_ revived if they self-attrition, but _are_ revived if they are destroyed.) Suggested fix: Maybe put a blanket ban on Regenerator Golems reviving stuff with Self-Attrition, or only with Self-Attrition of <60s (which would cover all drones)? (In fact, I don't even understand how this happens in the first place; I assumed Regenerator Golems wouldn't revive ships immune to repair, which all drones are. Why does it revive drones but not Lightning Torpedos?)

I haven't played on any of the later patches, but they did not used to revive drones. I'm going to agree that this is a bug that was introduced somewhere. I'm sure now that it's been brought up, it will be fixed. |
