Summary0015953: Betrayed Hope Game mode: Allow organic races to compliment synthetic workforce on Hydral planet and Hydral repopulation
DescriptionHaving the ability to create robotic servants to work on a Hydral planet is an amazing idea. However in my experiences, I found myself unable to gather organic (living) workers. The organic population of a captured planet died and was replaced with a low amount of robotic workers. While this does make sense (you are taking revenge) it would be a pretty good option to allow the race to become a "servant" race in addition to your drones. Perhaps they could keep partial racial benefits and have a chance to rebel against the robotic population.Or maybe you could fuse the organic population and synthetic population (like the husks in mass effect) to bio-engineer a new race. I also don't understand the point of building the meat-vats in the Hydral planet since all the population is synthetic and thus cannot benefit from an increased organic birth rate.

Also once you researched time travel, would this mean a game end? In theory you could go back and stop the destruction of your race or at least gather some other Hydrals to repopulate your planet. Maybe you could also branch off the gene-splicing technology to begin to clone some Hydrals at a very low rate (to prevent being overpowered) from your own DNA. This could have a negative effect like a declining health trend (since the genetic variety would be extremely low) and thus would easily allow the race to be murdered by some diseases (maybe some that target only the Hydrals.)

For the organic workers, I think that they basically are just allowed to die out because of the apathy of your character. They're legitimately useful for a while, but they won't survive forever in captivity.

On your second point:

* In both Invasion and Betrayal modes, the following techs are now absent: Temporal Mechanics, Time Travel, and God Mote.

Thanks!
