Descriptionok so they are not supposed to build stuff and research thing on there own!!!
and i was about to report that this minions didn't benefits enough from research multiplier ,they just stopped at some point...

Well if there is no AI for them than:
they should not able to build more of them self(because the dont have a basic AI)
they also should not generate credits(again no basic AI)
and at last they should not mining resources(picking up rocks? for what?)

and because they are technically not helping you at researching you could add X2 time for researching again.

and add a Dispatch to build more minions which takes a large amount of resources (unpaid of course).

This way you can make the game more challenging (there is no need for comfort or fun right?)

is there a way to play a older Version of betray mode?
i didn't had much fun any more since launch of betrayed hope...

It's perfectly possible for mindless robots to carry out instructions at factories. It's a matter of intelligent thought and design that is not possible.

so there is a factory, building them (and we cant build more of this)
and this is the only thing they can do?(military stuff beside)

can we task them to build stuff one there own in the future?

Possibly. Right now the game is pretty much in bugfixing-only mode, though, just so you know. We go through cycles of this with our long-term games. AI War has on periods and off periods, and has for 6 years. That way we can work on new projects (right now Stars Beyond Reach) and let existing games be stable, and then we go through a big batch of free updates and additions alongside paid expansions.

but removing the ability for passive building is not a bugfix...

So this game will leave "bugfixing-only mode" in 6 years!?

Well, bug and balance fixing. And that was a bug fix as it wasn't working as intended.

And no, it won't be six years! Goodness. I was saying that has been the pattern for AI War for the past 6 years. During that period it has had 7 major "on" periods and then a variety of maintenance periods. Even during maintenance periods we add the odd feature now and then, anyway. And queuing up features for potential future implementation is never a bad thing.

I just wanted to let you know where things are with that, since you have a lot of feature suggestions right now. No problems, just an FYI. :)

I'm just upset about these changes...

it gets more and more difficult. will there be changes to increase noticeability of different difficulty level?

what if just want to have a bit fun and not seeking the challenge?

Those particular changes bug you, or are there others as well? I don't mind adding in an option in the menu that would let you enable that sort of research that there was before.
