Summary | 0016193: Dragging the map view around
Description | I expected that, when nothing else was selected, clicking and dragging on the main view would scroll around, but it does not. I find that I do use this feature quite a lot when playing Civ V, and I suspect that if it existed here I would use it more. When all you want is to get a perspective on the other side of your city, say, in order to decide where to place a building, there's (considerably) less mouse movement involved in just dragging the view by a couple of hexes while still hovering near the build menu, say, than there is in going over to scroll via the side of the screen and then coming back again. I am (now) aware that the cursor keys have very similar functionality here, but this would still definitely be nice in my view.

Middle mouse button does just that! :) I love it, too. |

Ah, of course. Not so obvious on my laptop trackpad, though! |
