| Description | I had a negative income of -500k. I forgot the crown usage layout existed. I tracked down the largest expenses to the Opera House and Fighting Arena. The other massive losses were from malls. Looking into the situation further I found that the upkeep costs were affected by the tax rate set in the lander. Bumping tax rate to 300% increased the amount of upkeep for these buildings by 300% too. I also found that retail efficiency was -3400% (Part of that may be a deal from the Acutians). This meant my malls and eateries were costing me upwards of 100k each, per turn. | ||||

For 0.809: * Fixed a bug where if you made an optimize-retail deal with the Acutians and then their trust/attitude towards you went very sour then the impact of the deal would actually apply a strong negative multiplier to your retail-outlets' crown production and thus totally lay waste to your economy... wait, that's a bug? Thanks :) I couldn't find evidence that the tax rate was increasing crown-consumption, just crown-production (which thus magnified the negative-multiplier effect). If you spot a specific instance of that please let us know. |
