Description | I know that the AI isn't supposed to be working yet for most things, but I wasn't sure how much you guys were aware of what it was doing. Looking at the races, I've noticed that they do not have more than 300 housing and they aren't growing. This really stops their ability to do anything because they don't have the personnel. If they also have the productivity of buildings implemented that the player has, they are really going to be unable to do anything now. There are also two types of AIs. One type expands out like the player (e.g., Fenyn). The other doesn't seem to expand beyond their initial placement (e.g., Peltians). Perhaps it is because they don't want to build on their terraformed spaces? Although Boarines in .805 did expand, but oddly. They trickled out underground barracks to the northwest in roughly a line, and then terraformed above them. | ||||

Something is really wrong with the AI in general at the moment in regards to it constructing anything; we're looking into it. I did adjust the AI's wishes to make it more aggressive on providing for future population expansion in general, though, so after it is working again that should also change how it acts quite a bit. |

Thanks! * The AI is no longer blocked from building certain types of construction unless it has 80%+ staffing. That was previously causing the AI to sometimes never build those types of buildings. |
