Bending over? I could see buildings getting a one turn grace upon completion being a reasonable solution here. |

I usually name my games after various random things that are going on at the time I start them. This one... suffice to say it involves a certain young lady of my acquaintance adjusting her attire in a manner calculated to distract. |

Hahaha, that's really funny. :) Good idea on the grace period, though perhaps it should slide down in terms of grace period over a period of turns. 100% grace first turn, 80% next turn, 60% after that, etc. After 5 turns you have full penalties if you don't have your stuff together yet. |

I don't like the damage due to under-employment mechanic. You removed crown upkeep (which I have mixed feelings about) because it was confusing. And then, you add another similarly confusing effect with the building decay (likewise with pollution). I don't really understand the purpose of the mechanic, it isn't very clear. In closing I think they both need to go. |

Maybe this is one of the turn order things ptarth mentioned elsewhere? It seems like the building comes online, then upkeep/damage is applied, then staffing is updated. |

Actually, that was really insightful, and true. Chris hasn't gotten enough time and mental space to address that yet. (Although I still think it is the solution to a ton of problems and should be considered ASAP) So this is just a comment on the immediate problem. |

For 0.871: * Now buildings are immune to understaffing damage for 0000003:0000005 turns after their construction. Thanks :) |
