Summary | 0016919: Could we increase the maximum zoom level a bit?
Description | I got this idea from the images you added to the blog post recycling Sean's AAR. SBR has so many nice looking tiles! Pity is: I never see those pretty things in all their glory = /. Playing on my laptop at 1366x768 shrinks everything so much that stuff doesn't look half as good as in your pictures. I could live with having to zoom in and out repeatedly for navigation purposes if I can have this looks in exchange = )! Any chance to let us zoom a little further in (say: as far as you did in thise screens)?

These aren't 3D models, they're just sprites. So once you zoom in past a certain point, things start to look really cruddy. You can already zoom in 100%, which means that they are being shown at full resolution. That's how I took those screenshots. If you hit F3 and then look under Misc Stats there is a line that starts Viewport Center, and it has a part that says Zoom: and then a number. The smaller than number from 1, the further out you are zoomed. If it's 1, then you're seeing things at a 1:1 ratio. If you're unable to get to 1 for some reason, do let me know! Other than that, I'd suggest that maybe you have one of the compressions on and should back that off some? |

Ah okay, gotcha. Plesse ignore my post on the forums then. And I was aware its no 3D - I just thought they might still look good at say 110 to 125% - and I assumed that you zoomed in a little to do the screens for the blog. |
|
I know what let me astray now: My browser was set to 125% - thus the bigger tiles. Looks fairly good if you ask me ;)... |
|
Ah, I see. Well... I'll look into that as an option for the settings later on, then. We'll see. :) |
|
That would be much appreciated! Thanks =)! |

"And in the mean time you can mark this as resolved - the new screen scale thing did the job for me!" Awesome! |
