| Description | I was playing around in the scenario editor and noticed that the tropical worlds have very little jungle. I think the jungle placement reduction went too far here. | ||||

There are I believe 6 different new terrain types that are still in progress (on hold during the building decluttering, though, since Cath is on both), and a couple of those are intended specifically for Tropical, so it's kind of a temporary-at-best sort of map style right now. In general it's a lot better than it was before, but it's not a complete map style like, say, Terrestrial or Mars or Europa. IIRC all the other ones than those three are missing at least one terrain type, which affects a variety of things. Temperate Lakes is probably the closest to finalized out of the others, though. |

* The islands, temperate lakes, and tropic planet map styles have all been deprecated and are no longer part of the game. ** We will likely reintroduce those some time in the future either in an expansion pack or as post-1.0 content if the game does well. But for now we want to concentrate a larger share of resources into a stronger selection of maps. |
