Summary | 0017248: District shape oddities
Description | Districts are cut into odd shapes by mountain ranges and open waters. At least that's what I think is going on. A large district is chopped up into extensions that look like USA redistricting attempts. Not sure if this is good, bad, or ugly. Not sure if mountains and oceans should be integrated into districts.

Working as intended (after days of exhaustive experimenting). Mountains being their own thing, and oceans also being their own thing, is definitely important for balance reasons. Some of the really skinny sections of territories I'd prefer to have combined in some other fashion to adjacent territories to avoid those ultra-skinny pieces, but that's mainly a polish thing and I'm not even 100% sure it's desirable since that would kind of shape everything out into uninteresting flat blobs that potentially border less. |
