| Description | I personally think that the grassland and savanna tiles are a bit lacking when it comes to variety. Large continuous areas of grasslands/savanna always look a bit bleak to me. More shrubbery or some rivers/small lakes would go a long way, I think. Some implied elevation like small hills would be nice too. A differentiation other than color between shallow ocean tiles (i.e. coast) and ocean tiles would be cool as well. Maybe some waves here and there. Just an idea that occurred to me, maybe that's all already part of the polishing to come. I'm absolutely loving the art of this game so far, though :) | ||||

Thanks! * There are now little "decorations" on the grass, savanna, desert, and water tiles in order to provide more visual variety and interest on them. ** We're still working on more for other various terrain types, and may do some more for these terrains as well. The results of how much better this makes things look is pretty staggering! |
