| Description | I am running Ubuntu 14.04 and when I go to launch any of AI War, TLF, Bionic Dues, Shattered Haven, Skyward Collapse or Tidalis (any Arcen product I have installed), just after it loads (usually 1 or 2 notes of music plays), I get logged out of my computer. I believe they were working 2 or 3 months ago. I have tried with a different desktop manager. In the case of AI War, I have tried both the 64 bit and the 32 bit versions. When I launched AI War from command line and piped output to a file, I just got the following: Set current directory to /home/dfinlay/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/AI War Fleet Command Found path: /home/dfinlay/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/AI War Fleet Command/AIWarLinux.x86_64 Mono path[0] = '/home/dfinlay/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/AI War Fleet Command/AIWarLinux_Data/Managed' Mono path[1] = '/home/dfinlay/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/AI War Fleet Command/AIWarLinux_Data/Mono' Mono config path = '/home/dfinlay/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/AI War Fleet Command/AIWarLinux_Data/Mono/etc' I realize this is likely a Unity bug and thus not something you can do anything about, but I figured I would report it here anyway (you should know, for one thing and for another, maybe you can). | ||||

I seem to have fixed this. I had originally tested with the Gnome 3 and the Gnome 2 Fallback desktop managers. Reinstalling and using the Unity desktop manager (no relation to the Unity game engine) seemed to fix the problem. |

It might have been the same problem I had, 0016770 Do you have an ATI graphics card? |

Nope. It's an NVIDIA card. |
