Description | In boxing, there are lesser movers who follow the opponent around the ring in straight lines, but there are also better movers who cut off the ring. So, a slightly more intelligent version of Attacker could be a Cut Off (or Intercept) Attacker. This movement mode would see the enemy attempt to predict the players path based on their current momentum, it would be a similar movement based equivalent of the Lead TargetingLogic. I'm having difficulty coming up with an exact concrete mechanism for this, so I'll probably just link this boxing video about cutting off the ring and leave it to you guys to come up with a similar behavior if you think the idea has merit. I think I have an idea as to what you mean here; yeah, I'd support this idea, it sounds like a good addition. |

It's analogue in gaming is circle strafing, and I actually half-expected to see a category for this when I first launched the game. :P Always loved a team of javelineers riding in circles around their prey. |
