Summary0018200: Warden - not enough HP on certain phases/Punishment pickup too strong
DescriptionFinally had a good blind run through to the end, and it seems like The Warden might need significantly more HP on some phases or the weapon+50% damage but-no-repairs item I happened to pick up right before the boss scaled damage too high. Also seemed like hugging along the wall made most of the later attacks quite harmless with no random bullets to wade through, although this seems like a general issue I see with bosses.

Dunno, might want to rethink about how that item will work. Bursting down bosses before they can do anything will be a big problem, but increasing boss HP too much will be frustrating for all. I think the best case in this situation is to instead grant stacking bonus damage on per-second weapon cooldown and remove the no-repair thing, and/or proportionately scale player damage on bosses.

Hm, thanks for pointing this one out. I'm thinking that other certain late-game bosses are going to need this treatment as well. I'm putting in a quick-fix here, just a nice HP boost for these guys will do just fine. The issue was me testing them with just the normal gun, heh. Come to think of it, they dont take all that long to knock out even with that.

I'm giving the Warden, Terminus, and the two Guardians a large HP boost, so they can have a chance against late-game builds. It's possible that it's a bit much, but it can be toned down later if need be after some more testing.

I'll do something about the Warden's minefield attack later if further testing warrants it.

Let's see how the punishment item does against their improved versions (and other bosses & floor 6/7 enemies) before doing anything to that. It may not need changes right now.
