Summary0018363: Bulldogs on hard while sprinting causes inertia issue
DescriptionWhile sprinting I ran into a Bulldog which caused me to be knocked back. However, after I had slowed down from the knockback it seemed I like I had trouble moving towards the bulldog from hitting it or something.

I guess the best description I can give is control wonkieness...

Thanks. Just to clarify was it a Bulldog or a Bullrush? I'm thinking it was a Bullrush because they're the ones that do knockback. I think this might be an engine momentum thing, there was a report someone made about momentum sticking around for a while. I think I've seen the behaviour myself, if you get hit with a lot of knockback then it can take a while for the knockback to subside.

If it was a Bulldog -- these guys grab hold of you -- I might need to decrease the duration that acceleration is affected when they grab you. Thanks!

You are correct, it was a bullrush that caused that issue.

* The math behind knockback and kickback has been completely redone. It feels way more natural now (and never pulls you way across the room). The scale of numbers you need to use to see any result is roughly 10x higher than it was before.
