Description | Phaser probably should pass through shootables even if needing to find a clear wall or bombable to shoot at a enemy faster is somewhat interesting. Alien Eggs and Blockades might have the same issue. | ||||

Not quite sure what's being asked here. You want Phaser Gun to ignore damaging shootables? The main reason it hits shootables is purely because having a main weapon that isn't capable of breaking shootable objects can impose situations where you are stuck and have to end a run in a very frustrating manner. Buffing it to be able to pierce shootables and hit multiples at once as well would probably make the item too good, as it's already extremely powerful in its innate ability to shoot through walls. |

It already passes through multiple enemies so why couldn't it damage a shootable and pass through it? It just feels super weird for shootables to be some weird non-wall non-enemy thing. |
