Summary | 0018657: Mod support
Description | Wish list this for me. Would it be possible to have modded files actually be separate from the core game's files? Say like in the runtime you have a folder called mods. The game checks here first for files and these get loaded up first. Then the core game files (dupe files not loaded). Structure would be something like mods/ (Modname)/ (Configuration) or (Images) with the Config and Images folders structured like the core game folders. In game, we already have a MODs section for the test chamber, it should be much to add an interface element like the save menu with tick boxes. This menu would be filled from the (Modname) folders in the Mods folder. Using tick boxes to turn on and off mod sets and a save/cancel button pair tat the bottom. Save would force a xml reload, turning on or off the above mod folders. Idea for hull selection window: There is a slight offset looking box attached to slot 6. Have it act like a page down then have that offset box move to slot 1 and act as a page up. Should be able to handle any number of hulls at that point.
