Description | Four new Attacker_3x3 ships based around shields (the orbital kind). Previously posted on the mod forum. https://www.arcengames.com/forums/index.php/topic,18510.0.html The attached file unzips in the RuntimeData folder and put everything in place, without overwriting anything else. In addition to the ship scrips, it contains 2 new ship graphics (just recolored existing ships), two new shots (again, recolored to fit one of my ships themes), and a TestChamber for experiencing them (a_testHeartBrutes). | ||||

Just a note, these are some beautiful designs and will probably be appearing within a build or two. New art has been picked, but because we only have 3 different art variations, only 3 of the designs will be included at the moment. I'm probably going to hold the black design for the future. There was some talk of golden variations of enemies (vague talk, don't hold me to this!), so if that art is introduced the black variation would be perfect for that. Cheers! |

I was actually thinking of "Gold" (aka Champions per Diablo) variation as well last night. I believe we could add a modifier to have a random chance of effecting an enemy on room spawn. Then just increase its size, damage, health, shots, whatever else by 20%. I don't think that amount of distortion would effect the graphic. |

Yeah, the idea of Champions is something we discussed maybe for the next expansion -- if we get that far, of course. |

Thanks. You might want to adjust the damage on their weapons. I left everything as attack power 1, but 2 is apparently more the default. |

Added for next build, thanks. Red version doesn't seed until floor 5. The rest seed on floor 3 or above. |
