Summary | 0018930: Game uses inappropriate controllers
Description | My cursor is always moving up and to the left. I finally discovered that it is because I have rudder pedals connected. While rudder pedals may have two axes they are not an appropriate controller for moving a mech around the screen. The Windows Game Controllers dialog somehow knows enough to label the controller axes as Left Rudder Pedal and Right Rudder Pedal. Maybe that information is accessible in your game code. Or if not, allow the user to select which controller to use. Perhaps use whichever one has changing control inputs in the first game menu screen. Only joysticks and thumb controllers should be used. Driving with my feet is too hard. :-)
