Description | After playing a couple games I have noticed that after a while I get massive slowdowns in the game play. The camera moves at the same speed but the ships and their shots are slowed down a lot. So far it seems to happen when I am sending my fleet back to my starting world to defend against a wave. If I save and restart the game the issue is gone. This is happening on Windows 10. Haven’t had chance to test on Linux yet. Looking at the ArcenDebugLog I found the following repeating endlessly during the time it happens. I have tested further and I am able to repro in Linux. In order to repro you need to enable the dyson at an intensity of 7 or higher. As to the null error, I quoted above I have not been able to repro that any further so it is probably not related to this performance issue. |

When the Dyson intenity gets up that high it starts spawning ships quite quickly. Perhaps you're just experiencing the normal effects of having that many ships in the galaxy |

After updating to 0.701, I loaded a game that has a intensity 8 dyson. Although the game did slow down occasionally it wasn't even close to as bad as before. This was with about 86000 in threat roaming around. I think with further updates this will only improve as stuff gets fixed and efficiencies improve. |
