Note to self: use some of those other voice actors that I didn't have roles for, and give them other bridge crew roles specifically just for this sort of thing. Rather than the players triggering taunts as I originally described, let's have these things be in reaction to things in the gameplay, as the AI Taunts are. In the case of events where humans OR the AI might want to comment, like losing a minor planet, it should be a coin toss to see which side comments, basically. And if the coin toss leads to a side that is all-talked-out for now, then it tries the other side instead. |
