Summary0019927: Ship design ideas that I had that are mostly no longer relevant.
DescriptionFighter: ship slowing effect
Bomber: hits through personal shields without damaging them.
Structures: high personal shields, low base health
Missile Corvette: longer range, does more damage against ships with more armor
Multi-Needler Corvette: rename to Implosion Corvette, does more damage against ships with higher energy costs
Eyebot: tachyon built in, hits through personal shields
ArmorShip: incredible amounts of armor, high raw firepower
AutocannonMinipod: rename to Plasma Minipod, slows firing rate of things it hits.
LightningCorvette: hits large area of ships, does more damage to shields if there are any.
GrenadeLauncher: hits area of ships, does more damage when ships unshielded.
Infiltrator: passes through forcefields, no personal shields, decent armor, decent attack
LaserGatling: hits personal shields and hull equally
MLRS: rename to Compression Rocket Corvette, gets bonus the thinner the hull
Raider: low shields, no armor, thin hull, high firepower, slow health regen
Raptor: cloaking, low shields, no armor, thick hull, high firepower
SentinelFrigate: long range, tachyon built in, high shields, high armor, high damage
Sniper: extreme range, no shields, low armor, thin armor, slow speed, does heavy damage to ship shields but very little damage to ship hulls
SpacePlane: cloaked, fast, shots reduce the range of ships that they hit for a while
SpaceTank: slow, highly armored, hits through personal shields without damaging them, increased damage vs elites
Spider: short range, high armor, high shields, low firepower, can stun engines of enemies they hit
VampireClaw: melee range, mid armor, mid shields, takes health from enemies,
VorticularCutlass: melee range, huge armor, no shields, huge damage, damage themselves equally when dealing damage


all turrets identical in terms of defense, just differ in offense?
NeedlerTurret: renamed to Implosion Turret, does more damage against ships with higher energy costs
FlakTurret: cloaked, deals big area of ships, does more damage when ships unshielded
LaserTurret: hits personal shields and hull equally
LightningTurret: hits large area of ships, does more damage to shields if there are any.
MissileTurret: longer range, does more damage against ships with more armor
MLRSTurret: renamed to Compression Rocket Turret, gets bonus the thinner the hull
PlasmaTurret: slows firing rate of things it hits.
SniperTurret: does heavy damage to ship shields but very little damage to ship hulls
SpiderTurret: short range, can stun engines of enemies they hit
BeamCannon: line-style beam damage AOE.

AssaultStarship: amored, thick hull, high HP, short range plasma shots that slow the firing speed of things they hit
ScoutStarship: lightly armored and shielded, acts as scout, tachyon abilities,
StealthStarship: cloaking and stuff
RaidStarship: low shields, no armor, thin hull, high firepower, slow health regen
ShieldStarship: mobile shield
SiegeStarship: high damage, does more damage to targets farther away.
SniperStarship: change to some other function ??? Infiltrator starship?
CarrierStarship: spawns spider, vampire claw, and vorticular cutlass drones

LaserGuardian: rename to Suppressor Guardian, reduces the range of ships it hits for a bit
StealthGuardian: rename to RaptorGuardian and make it work like those more or less.
SniperGuardian: Infiltration Guardian
MissileGuardian: longer range, does more damage against ships with more armor
WidowGuardian: rename to SpiderGuardian
TractorGuardian: tractor beams and otherwise kinda average
LightningGuardian: like the turret, etc.
IonGuardian: shorter range, but works like ion cannon
