Summary0020133: Make the Overlord Phase 2 an actual threat
Description4,000 damage every 4 seconds. -_- Pathetic. Mark 1 shields have 1,000,000 shield points. Do the math.

For my version (that I haven't really tested except for a few minutes), I adjusted some things and have more ideas.

1. I added Tachyon coverage. No cloaked ships are sneaking up on it. It *is* the most important ship for the AI.
2. The Avenger in the original had a heavy beam cannon. I didn't add that, but there should be some powerful guns on it.
3. I added another Ballistic cannon, so it's 8,000 damage every 4 seconds. I probably should have just adjusted the damage, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
4. I also added fusion rockets to take care of melee ships. The other guns might take care of them, but just in case, I put them in. This will also act as a sort of Devourer-like behavior. As in, you can't put turrets directly in its path or they'll get obliterated.
5. With it dealing more damage, the health might have be decreased a little bit.

I have attached a screenshot of the changes I made. I don't have a picture of the original phase 2, but it had no Tachyon coverage and one ballistic cannon, The numbers are basically placeholders, put in to test the weapons.

For now I wouldn't put a beam on - they don't seem to work too well.

It's a good point. I like the idea of two more powerful cannons (named Archon Cannons? Archon means "Ruler") and some kind of MLRS. Probably not at 2s reload - that's somewhat contributing to shot lag like the rest, though it's a single ship so maybe not relevant.

Agreed on the health - Overlords are a bit obnoxious in the sheer time it takes to kill one. Should be a challenge, not a chore.

Incidentally - Mass: 0.3tX. Wha? I know it's only a bit of the Overlord but...wha? It's hardly got more mass than a fighter jet!

Please feel free to make plenty of changes here, Puffin.

Might I also suggest the Norris Effect for this guy? It's the huge big baddy, and it being able to blitz past your shields is scary as can be. :)

Done!

Both Overlord phases have reduced health - bit more than half remaining. Phase 2 now has 2 Archon Cannons, dealing 8000 damage every 2s, and Archon Missiles, firing 32 missiles at once, every 2s, with 200 damage each. Also has the Norris effect, so no more cheesing this by trapping it.
