Looks like it is working as intended. Overall the stacks are fairly balanced, but then you have the stack of 90 there. Those mega-stacks will happen from time to time, but as the numbers go down they will split very rapidly into things like two stacks of 45. Because I have to run this stuff in parallel, there's a limit to the intelligence I can put into the evenness of stacking. Ultimately the splitting of stacks being a "cut in half" operation is one of the things that makes that less of an issue. |
