DescriptionNameless Terror reports.

"Beam weapons are OP. Rather than going back to limiting damage to 9x targets, go with beam does 20,000+ damage (instead of 2,000) and hits as many targets as it takes to do its full damage. (max 4000 damage to a single stack (if you still want potential for wasted damage), max 20,000 damage per shot). "

Beam weapons I think interact strangely with things like "spreads damage evenly". I can try but past attempts at things like this failed.

"Spreads Damage Evenly" does not function on Beams.

Not sure what'd be best. I can understand the second one, but it feels tricky to implement and explain.

I think I'd prefer the "damages X targets along the beam". That seems simple and worth trying for now? Then it's also easy to set that differently for each beam weapon (i.e Spire Frigate might be able to hit 20 units with a beam instead of the usual 9).

This was fixed some time ago. At least, it hasn't came up since.
