Summary0021672: Suggestion for melee variants
DescriptionBackground/problem:
Melee isn't as robust compared to other tech choices and they lack a diverse toolkit to make them compelling "mains." These proposed variants try to fill a void and otherwise expand melee options:
1) Fusion Gangsaw--Has "fusion saw" in place of metabolizing, self-damaging saw. These are meant to destroy turrets/guard posts--melee demolition bots!
**This fleet would be nice to show up occasionally in "bomber themed" fleets in the RNG
2) Piranha--metabolizing gangsaw variant. Has MLRS effect (bonus damage to enemies below X%) in addition to metabolism and self/damage. Flavorful DPS!
3) Shadow--Vampiric claw variant. Loses vampirism but gains the space-plane evasion buff (resists the damage of distant units). A melee that can deal with snipers!
4) Ram--Autombomb variant. Does bonus damage to massive units. Something fun to kill guardians with!
**Could damage scale with how massive a unit is? Make this unit great at massive targets like the Overlord but wasted on smaller things

Going to mark as resolved for now. May rework Absorber a tad into the Shadow, particularly as it is meant to be a tank, so having no cloak is reasonable (you mentioned this before).

NIce! I actually forgot about the absorber, haven't come across it yet

How would you feel about replacing the fusion bombers with the fusion saws in the starting metabolism fleet?
