| Description | I know that the hacking history says it is WIP, but this bug affects the main hacking tooltip as well as hacking progression. Hacked an Ion cannon. The tooltip said it would cost 17 hacking points 17 hacking points were deducted (so far so good) The history log upon completion said it cost 17 hacking points, but listed the ion cannon twice. The hacking tooltip showing progression towards higher levels of AI hacking response showed 34 hacking points were deducted despite only 17 spent. That was fun, so I decided to checke whether this meant my new hacking limit was 83 total spent (which would be displayed as 100 in tooltip) or 100 total spent (which would be displayed as 117) by going on a wild science extraction spree. Result: according to the main hacking tooltip, I had spent 100 and progressed to next category when I had spent 83. I don't know whether hack-logic thinks I've progressed to the next level here, but the tooltip surely does. This is completely reproducible in 1.009, so I've attached a save game made just before hack completion, one after, and one following the 83 or 100 test as well as relevant screenshots. | ||||
