Description | Currently, the game only ever spawns one Superterminal. It can only be used once, it's most valuable when AIP is already quite high, and you can't capture the world it's on or you destroy it. Functionally, this means that the world with the Superterminal is uncapturable until later in the game, unless you want to waste the benefit of the Superterminal hack. This can be a problem if it happens to spawn on an essential chokepoint or something. To work around this, it would be really easy to just spawn two or three Superterminals. You'd still only be able to perform one superterminal hack per game, of course. | ||||

I think the uniqueness of the superterminal is what makes it so special. If the superterminal spawns on a critical choke point then you have a choice; live without the choke point or don't get full potential value out of the superterminal. That sounds like an interesting hard choice to give the player. |
