Description | I'd like it if the tech bar tooltips included an explanation of what kind of roles the various ships fulfilled. Also, this is a good opportunity to make sure the weapons really are in the correct tech groups. * Melee is for point-blank range * Splash is AoE (but also there are some significant AoE weapons, like seige frigates, that aren't Splash) * Concussion is... I think it's generally strong vs small lightly-armoured ships? * Subterfuge seems to be mostly engine stun, paralysis, and other such disruptive technologies, but not stealth ships, so maybe this one needs renaming? * Fusion weapons are good against shielded targets and structures... but also includes MLRS pods for some reason??? * Technologist includes parasite, but what else? * Disruptive seems to be a bit of a grab-bag of techs, and doesn't seem all that good at disrupting things. * Generalist isn't actually very generalist. It includes tritium snipers and nucleophilic weapons! | ||||
