After reloading the distant kill test save, I was able to find the frigates, which were stuck inside (placement wise) their command cruiser. I could have sworn that I couldn't find them at all (using M to get everything in system) before saving. It's possible I was hallucinating. It's also possible that the frigates were saved properly and restored upon reload. Either way, this is probably low priority to chase. |

Also worth noting that frigates don't seem to be rebuilt if the flagship isn't on a planet with a shipyard. Shouldn't they teleport like others flagships? |

They do teleport far as I'm aware. I've seen them be rebuilt just okay, so that's weird. |

They do.I just hadn't found out the tooltip bit in the shipyard description, that only show up when no spire flagships are nearby, that they only cover adjacent planets.
On one hand it makes sense, on the other hand it needs to be more obvious. Also somewhere needs to be stated how to mark up spire cities. I believe it's numbers (from browsing through the bugtracker), but it isn't going to be obvious at all that's how upgrading spire cities is done. Especially with Alien Core tech still being around.
It's going to be confusing for a lot of players testing the expansion. |
