DescriptionI'm a new player trying to run the Helping Hands scenario.

Fresh install of AI war 2
Start game, quick start, Basic, Helping Hands, Start Game.
After a few seconds a dialog comes up:
Error Occured:
BadgerUtilityFunctions::findHumanKing: No human king found, but game has not been won! At least one Sim-Step has happened since the King died. No specific faction requested.

If I restart the Quick Start, most of the time that error doesn't show up, but then I just have no clue what to do. I can't find any ships or anything on the screen anywhere. There is one white planet in the middle but no ships around it. The Fleets, Build, Tech, Hacks tabs are all blank. On the Intel tab under New Fleets there are 3 buttons, each has an ERROR: System.Nullreference exception for the text so I have no idea what the tooltip is. Clicking the first button, "Claim Combat Fleet on Dix" takes me to a new location but there's simply nothing there. What do I do to play this Quick Start, I'm so confused...

BTW the tutorials worked fine as soon as I started them, there were always a few ships visible that I could interact with. But with the quick start... where are my ships or fleets?

I tried Scenario 1 and I don't get the findHumanKing exception but all the tabs are blank again and I have no idea what to do... sorry if this is a dumb newbie question, I have only gotten through the tutorials so far.

In one of the scenarios I can see under the Planet tab some metal harvesters. Clicking on one takes me to a blank section of space near the planet but not matter how far I zoom in and out, I don't see anything.

I've retried the Helping Hands about 20 times now and the "king" bug just refuses to show again...

I have been able to replicate this issue. It does not occur for me on custom starts, but it does appear to be an issue on *all* quickstarts, even if loaded into the lobby first.

Just to add on, I'm now seeing it happen on custom starts as well. Game defaults to no human player on custom starts, adding an extra one in doesn't fix it.

Custom Starts are still usable if you Reset Defaults first. Quickstarts I don't know of a workaround for.

* Made the exports for data about factions in a game a lot more detailed.

* Made it so that if you get a "no human king found" error, it also writes a report about what factions are there.

* Fixed a bug during deserialization of savegames/quickstarts that made it so that you had duplicate copies of the WorldSetup used for the lobby and the long-term storage, and that in turn led to chaos like deleting players or other factions or creating many duplicate factions when starting a new quickstart.
** This bug has been in place since April 1st (go figure), but it wasn't really fully rearing its head until yesterday when some unrelated changes made it suddenly more apparent.
** In fact we even had a second copy of this error from the same day in a second spot for loading quickstarts, so it was really going crazy.
** This is less a case of "how did we break this yesterday" and more of a case of "how has this been working at all prior to yesterday for the two weeks prior?"
