Description | At the moment, every game starts off with two levels in engineering to give them stealth. I feel like it's pretty core for my play and I hope I'm right in saying that it likely goes all the way up to higher level play too. By giving engineers stealth by default, it turns the engineering upgrade to an actual choice rather than always being taken. | ||||

I think assuming that everyone is playing with one style is a bad idea. Also, to balance this we'd need to give the AI access to a lot more tachyon emitting units, which would make other stealth-related strategies much harder |

I'm not a fan of this proposal. This is a huge buff to the player and would detract from the value of the engineering tech in a bad way. It's important for utility techs to feel like good investments through bonus incentives else they just feel like raw stat increases, which is boring |
