You know there is a global Attack warning on the resource bar at the very top of the screen, right? By the Threat and Wave notifiers? Attack refers to ships on any of your planets. |

It may be that I need to train myself to watch that. I seem to be much better at reacting to a new message appearing when there was not one before, rather than a number in the top bar changing. This isn't a huge issue of course, I can always just keep setting the per-planet settings. But if it's not a headache to implement, I would surely use it all the time.
Edit: And if a planet is already under attack, and the AI sneaks in ships elsewhere (which it seems to LOVE to do to me) then I really have almost no chance of noticing this change in the threat bar.

Maybe just a audio sound effect could play when another human planet comes under attack, so you know to look at the resource bar. |

Yes please! The number of raid starships that have snuck past my lines of defence unnoticed is horrific! Please oh please give us the ability to set something like that! |

I agree. I currently use the CTRLS to set this for every captured planet on a per-planet basis, but sometimes I forget and lose a planet because I didn't get a warning. The global Attack warning is insufficient because it's in my peripheral vision and I can't see it change, whereas I immediately notice the warnings.
I don't think this should be on the galaxy view, though. I think it makes more sense as a global option in the CTRLS.
