Summary0002721: Minor faction: Technical virus
DescriptionLong post: read summary if don't feel like reading

this pre war virus made specifically in case AI did manage to cooperate together. these ship lay dormant in deep space until found (warning displayed) then powered by supply (warning displayed). this minor faction fights for dominance on planets trying to turn all AI & human ship alike to Aid it quest to dominate the AI. with each ship killed by this minor faction they become infected. the infected ship act as normal ship but they have armor degrade, and ability to infect other ships since this not conventional reclamation Most of galaxy ships can be infected how ever there few ships that have immunity to this form of reclamation (golems,spirecraft (large),core star ship but not star ships and core fleet ships). infected ships are basically zombies and only leave an AI system when all most ships are claimed and it become Host planet. Host planet is virus attempt in destroying the AI by using it reinforcement methods against it. it claims by zombiefying all guard post. once that done it claims the planet.

it does however come threat when there close planet are infected. and the AI however still consider u an threat will most likely attack the infected depending on the fleet side. u can help AI in cleanses the universe while taking advantage of this distraction, or crush them and Aid infected. both AI and infected don't take much notice of few Player ship and most likely attack each other when all 3 are on planet. AI does however can take planet back by destroying all zombie ship present, and it does this by forms of CPA. infected ships ignore human worlds and only go into them when they are crossing to planet to planet. infected planet are much harder to take than AI planets. thus warning is displayed when infected besieging an planet and when AI trying to take back planet. u can too decide to defend zombie planet or attack.

Notes: for balance issues they should have an 45 min life span.

Technical virus can take AI planets for reinforcements warning displayed

Planets taken by Technical virus are harder for player to take.
when enter system with war waging AI & infected ignore Player until attacked or one destroyed
Player ship ignore ship while war waging until attack order given (force attack)
reinforcements expire 15 mins after created by host planet
multiple planets can host dormant ships
dormant ships are Modified parasites and there ship cap and few they don't have attack priority they send signal out to ai think they are harmless. you can however find them and destroy them be careful they are hardy than you think
devs can change the name

reason for most ship to be reclaimed is the core and other AI types make it easy for player to win with this minor faction on and it meant to limit Player taking certain planets it minor faction when first encounter text should say warning when activated it further limits player ability in taking planets. but it wont matter if player got all planets wanted.

edit: if to op then reduce health of reclaimed to 1/3.

Too complex and will either be too weak, or will have a snowball effect where instead of fighting against the AI the player is fighting against a minor faction with all the forces of the AI that will also reclaim all the player's ships.

u only fight it when u try to take it planet. it never attack human player unless ur on one of there planets. remember humans made this for retaking back planet from ai. so it doesn't directly attack the player it strictly attack ai unless ur trying to take the planet and it wont chase and go for u command centers. it only go for AI.
