Summary | 0027615: Tractored units firing beyond range at tractorer | ||||
Description | See save. My Widowmaker golem in the Bradamont system is getting lit up by enemy ships it has tractored which shouldn't be in range to shoot it. Unless tractored units are supposed to be able to fire beyond their range at the unit tractoring them, this is a bug. If this is intended behavior, a Tractor Beams section which clarifies this needs to be added to the How to Play menu. | ||||

It's stated in there somewhere, in the how to play section. But yeah, if you are tractored by a unit, you can hit it from any range with your weapons. Basically the weapons just go up the tractor beam. |

I scanned the How to Play section and was unable to find the entry. Assuming it is in there, it's buried and not likely to be noticed by a non-veteran player. I would suggest adding a "Tractors" section in How to Play which is dedicated to said topic and includes this clarification. Only reopening so this gets noticed. If the suggestion is rejected, please re-close. |

I think adding something in the How To Play section is excessive for this issue, since it's not very impactful to gameplay. Instead I've added a "Tip of the Day" that mentions this |
