Summary | 0028162: Units caught in tractor beam forever | ||||
Description | I have ships which say they are caught in a tractor beam, but there are no nearby enemy units. I have decloakers there as well and they aren't seeing anything. I tried saving and exiting, but they are still stuck in the tractor beam. The units are stuck on kamarkar. It also stops the envious elderling from moving in the second elderlingstuckintractor save. | ||||

It seems like if a reverse tractor sticks to an elderling while underneath a forcefield, it stops the elderling from moving. There's definitely some weird interactions going on between tractors, reverse tractors and forcefields. |

Oh, I'm dumb. I just noticed the wrangler has a normal tractor beam and not a reverse one. That would explain why the elderlings aren't moving. But it's still weird the wranglers are getting stuck in non-existent tractor beams after some fights. |
