Ok, now I realize there already is one (P). So I'm amending this suggestion to leave spacebar exactly how it is, and make P more prominent. At minimum I think it would be good to have it in the tooltip for the Spacebar, where it currently tells you to go to the Forces Sidebar to find and select units that are unable to act more. I think using P is going to be, esp. early on, an easier and more common way of doing that. |

It is pretty frequently used. I actually also think 'P' is a little awkward as a default, as you can't easily reach it with your left hand without leaving WSAD (but I gather camera panning will be on middle mouse by default now, so maybe there's no reason to change the default binding). |

Is P actually something that folks use that frequently? I had expected it to gather dust, but you two are not the first two to mention it. I can shift around some bindings to make it easier. |

I think 'P' was my third-most used binding behind 'B' and 'Tab'. In general, for games like this I prefer cycling units using the keyboard manually, not least because then I know everyone has moved in the order I want, and I don't miss anyone manually jumping around with the mouse. I can't speak to anyone else but I would be surprised if people didn't like cycling units using the keyboard. |

Oh, I also cycle units. But I do it with spacebar. It just goes to my units that are actually able to act. Is there a reason you didn't just use spacebar?
The only thing that P does that spacebar does not is select units that are out of AP. That might be useful if you still have some mental energy but all your units are out of AP, or if you want to switch to a unit that has no AP instead of ones that do have AP. But otherwise spacebar is the expected button. |
