Summary | 0028415: with audio disabled, exiting the game makes a static sound
Description | In the Audio settings panel: Gameplay Sound: Off Music: Off Ambient Sound: Off Other audio settings are default, but Volume levels at 60, Overall Volume 100. Play for a bit and then exit to desktop, and the game may produce a brief static sound. Launching the game and then closing it quickly doesn't make any noise. I didn't notice any exit noise when audio was on.

This can also happen when audio isn't disabled, though I did have all the volume sliders lowered a bit. I only noticed it after experimenting with cheats & sandbox mode. The cheat that spawns a war is super loud and plays a ton of sounds when you end turn, so that might be related. And I exited the game with the "close window" X button, which possibly does something different from exiting via the in-game menu. Possibly I had done the same thing before, testing in windowed mode with audio disabled and using the X to exit. |
