Description | I have a combat bot marked as defective, I equipped the security jacket with the perk blending in but his status remains as defective. Persists even after waiting a few turns. I thought it would change to blending in. This item was obtained in chapter 1. I'm left to assume that perk is something that would apply to a bot who looks so scary by default that it cannot blend in. | ||||

It actually has to do with the "marked defective" thing in general. It block EVERYTHING. Your bots all give off a bit of a signal of who they are, and if an ID is flagged as defective by the humans, then nothing will solve that -- not clothing, not clearances -- until that ID either pays off the fine for the defective behavior, or gets themselves a new ID. I should make this more clear in the game, though. Clothing effects only apply to units that are not currently marked as defective. |
