I can definitely see the usefulness in this, but, I'm not sure that this should be a priority just now. |

This is Zoe thing we decided not to do for the sake of sanity and simplicity. It's possible that someday we might revisit it, but I really am not keen to. I think the amount of complexity added to an already complex system would be harmful. |

I think it's just the opposite. Anyone coming from MMOs (which seem to be the only other game genre that use toolbars for almost everything) or RPGs would expect this sort of behavior and find it maddening (as I do) that it's absent. I guess we'll see what everyone else thinks soon! |

I guess so -- never played an mmo, here. But played plenty of neverwinter, which I do think had that functionality. However their entire setup was pretty different from ours in terms of variety of spells and spell levels, etc. |
