Summary | 0004329: Entrance to a house spawned me in a ruined room outside of the level space | ||||
Description | The other entrance to the house worked fine, but when I went in the second entrance it led to a ruined room and I appeared somewhere outside where I should have been. The camera was still centered on the door, but on the mini map I could see that I was somewhere off the map. Included world file that should be saved at the right spot, I hope. Edit: Upon reloading the world file, it has actually put me in a spot where i can see my character, but I'm separated from the door by a wall. | ||||

+1 on this bug, got a message when it occurred that the game couldn't find the spawn point. Reloading put me trapped in a room, but warp scrolls saved the day. |

Going to attach another save with a similar problem. This one didn't spawn me outside the level space, but it did spawn me away from the door and with no path with enough space to get to the door. I was entering the ruined room from another room that I had to go through a side passage to get to, but I don't know if that had any effect on it or not. Edit: Never mind it's too large. The uploader can't handle 5 MB? That's going to start causing some trouble for uploading saves going forwards! |

Thanks! * Fixed an issue where some destroyed rooms with two doors were only seeding one door because of an error in the room template file. ** Fixed the definition, but also fixed it so that the auto-cleanup code of the interior generator now prefers to carve ceilings instead of floors in order to minimize this issue happening with any other bad templates. This won't fix existing worlds, but will prevent it from happening again. |
