Summary0005016: Crash when entering commodity tower
DescriptionGot a crash to desktop when entering a commodity tower. Nothing in the error logs, but I noticed a crash folder was made, attaching that along with a screenshot of the error.

Edit : Reloading the world caused some ingame error logs, so attaching those. Tried going into the tower again and everything seemed to go ok, no more errors when reloading. I did notice that the starting room for the commodity tower was different, but that might just be a side effect of the game crashing and regenerating something new when I went in a second time.

The crash folder isn't ours. What OS are you using? This is probably based on the sound effect playback changes that I made in the last version, but we'll have to see.

Thanks for the report!

Thanks!

Regarding the other logs and such, there's not a lot to go on, although it does seem like this may be the issue that Techsy was seeing in 0.530 on Linux. What was the last version prior to 0.531 that you played a substantial amount on? 0.530, or 0.529 or before?

Also: how long of playing did it take for you to get this error, would you say? Are you able to duplicate it? If you can duplicate it, can you try disabling sound effects and see if that fixes it?

The above a lot to ask, so just any info you can provide is welcome, but no pressure. These are always tricky to tackle -- thanks for your help!

I'd say about an hour's play time before it came up. I played a substantial amount both on 0.530 and 0.529 I think, at least a couple of hours on each. I'll see if I manage to get it to happen again in any consistent way :-)

In 0.532, which is now out:

* Reduced the number of sounds that can be played each frame down from 4 back to 2 (prior to 0.531 the number was 1). Hopefully this will solve the crashing problem experienced by a couple of players.
