| Description | In multiplayer, both me and a friend died and cannot get to the screen to select a new character. Abandon Character from main menu does nothing. Logging out and back in does nothing. Shutting down server and bringing it back up does nothing. We see our dead bodies and a message "XXX has perished. Press Confirm to choose another." Pressing Confirm does nothing. Note, at least my friend created a ghost when he died. I may have as well. In a single player fresh world this bug did not occur. In a multiplayer fresh world (with one person logged in) we encountered other bugs that prevented additional testing. I will add a mantis report on those as well. Edits: I just determined both of us created ghosts. I closed the server and loaded it in single player mode and I can select a character. Then I'm fine in MP mode. My friend still cannot select a character since he can only play in MP mode. I killed the ghosts we created, no change in the bug. | ||||

Would the correct severity for this be "Block"? I'm uncertain what that severity is for, but this bug certain stopped our adventures until it gets resolved. |

If it blocks you from continuing playing, I'd certainly call that a block. |

Sorry, I saw the other report of this and missed this one; this is fixed for 0.548 which should be out today. |
