| Description | After looking around for a while for a snowsuit for my non-ice age character that I just started, I still haven't found one after about an hour. It might be nice as a mission reward, or a secret mission, or just even seeded occasionally throughout the world, to have a 'wandering merchant' who will trade you an item for X of some other item. E.g. "I'm looking for 500 wooden platforms. I'll give you ______ in exchange". Maybe if it offered a couple random items as trade rewards, like in the early days of spell crafting workbenches and profession books? Then have the merchant teleport away to god-knows-where (i.e. only one trade per merchant)so it wouldn't become a resource-abuse situation or just-another-workbench. My problem now is I have almost 700 wood platforms, but not a single snowsuit, and I'm on a continent w/ a lot of missions spawning in the snow, but I don't want to constantly use the ice age characters as a fallback (the other characters are nice too!) | ||||

Just to make sure... Where are you looking for the snow suits? They only seed in the Ice Age Thawing stashes, but in there, I've never had any problems finding them. |

Follow up: I went back and searched some Ice Age thaw. In the second building I went into I found 2 snowsuits right next to each other. Not sure how many thaw buildings I've been in since I started my current world, but thanks for the direction - I suppose I need to do better homework next time, thanks. |

Not sure how much homework there is to be done in this case, heh. The fact that snowsuits only show up in the thawing probably isn't documented anywhere. |
