Summary0006795: Carrier-Based Unit Redeployment Might Not Actually Scrap Zombie Units
DescriptionUnit redeployment into carriers doesn't seem to interact well with zombie ships or something -- you'll see the ship threat count utterly climb when redeployment occurs, instead of presumably staying constant.

The save file included is in the middle of a cheaty game made for spectating a superterminal running out of control -- usually a redeployment will occur mere seconds into the save file, at an inconsistent delay and redeploying an inconsistent amount of ships. Sometimes no redeployment will occur within the minute, and at this point it's probably best to reload the save file to try to see the bug occur.

(This save file also shows a superterminal that's actively spawning ships but not being actively hacked anymore, but i'll hold off on that report until i can research it a bit more)

So it creates the carrier, but doesn't actually "load" the zombies into them (aka, scrapping the ships that are now "bucket counted" in the carrier), basically leading to duplication of ships?

And since the zombies are still there, they may trigger another carrier spawn, duplicating ships again?

Yikes, that seems rather nasty.

This is probably now fixed, as of discussion in http://www.arcengames.com/forums/index.php/topic,10084.html

Fixed this in response to a different report I saw (the one you linked, actually), but thanks very much, definitely a pretty massive bug :)

And the superterminal is supposed to keep going after your command station goes away, that was a relatively recent change.
