Summary0007830: Add a new Illari Crystal that trades resource
DescriptionWhen you are trying to get a certain spell of higher tiers, sometimes it can take forever and the missions can feel like they aren't offering enough of the rewarded resource to get the one you need any time soon.

How about letting us trade a certain amount of resources for a smaller amount of another, like a 5 or 10 to 1 ratio.

For example: To get just T5 of both Summon Tornado and Boomerang, you'll need 50 Cats Eyes, and that is just for the last Tiers of those 2 spells combined requirements, meaning altogether from T1 they probably cost double that much.

The world generates occasional missions that only offer 1 or 2 Cats Eyes, and lots of missions containing useless things such as Old Growth Extracts. Why not let us trade these useless Old Growth Extracts for barely any Cats Eyes that hardly contribute much to the amount needed, but will still be far more useful to us than the Old Growth Extracts.

I'm sure people who regret unlocking Old Growth Extracts because of how it replaces so much of your Earth Essenses would love this idea.

If implemented, just do it for mission reward ingredients, not common minerals. The Illari have the power to force the world to generate resource missions, so why not have to power to alter the resources?

Seriously, the last few times I used that power, I only got 2-5 Cats Eyes per use(and loads of magma), and in other peoples games, it's the same but with different resources.

PS: In MP, this will make things less harsh on the players who's spell ingredients weren't favored while the rest of the continent pushed up in tiers.

Because of MP and the fact that resources are shared, trading in of existing materials is not something we can ever do with the game. You can't trade-back something someone else has already spent, and so on. Once you have a crafting ingredient in your stockpile, that's it and you can't ever change it to some other form.

That's why diluters and similar focus on the acquisition of resources rather than the post-resource stuff.
